    The shrine that houses the ancestral tablets of the kings and queens of the Yi Dynasty. Named on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1995.

    The greatest palace in Seoul, the "Palace of Shining Happiness" was built in 1394 as the residence of the first Yi King Yi Teajo. Hub of royal power and the royal residence for around 200 years.

    The "Palace of Virtuous Longevity" is dotted with the main gate Daehanmun , the throne room Junghwajon, and the first Renaissance-style building in Korea, which now houses the Royal Museum, Sokchojon.
